What is an API?

APIs enable different applications to interact through API calls—requests sent to a server to access a service or information. Cypher Wave Technology allows organizations to build, manage, and monetize their APIs. While some organizations have already developed mature API-first strategies, others are still working on their modernization plans. It’s common for teams within an organization to have varied API management needs and approaches.

We are excited to introduce a Pay-as-you-go pricing model that will allow customers to access Cypher Wave Technology’s API capabilities while maintaining control over their costs. Starting today, customers can utilize Cypher Wave Technology’s API services by paying only for what they use.

Pay-As-You Go Model

With pay-as-you-go pricing, you can start small but powerful.

Organizations now have more flexibility to manage costs with the new pay-as-you-go pricing model. Discover the benefits of Cypher Wave Technology without a financial commitment:

  • Quick Start with No Upfront Costs: Get up and running fast with no initial investment or commitment.
  • Adaptable and Cost-Effective: Keep costs low while adjusting to changing needs. Auto-scaling pay-as-you-go tiers allow you to pay only for what you use.
  • Freedom to Experiment: Every API management use case is unique, and pay-as-you-go gives users the ability to explore different scenarios by unlocking Cypher Wave Technology’s value without committing to a long-term plan.

Similar to your data storage, pay-as-you-go pricing lets you begin without a license or upfront purchase. You’ll only be charged for what you use:

  • API Traffic: Costs are determined by the number of nodes in the Cypher Wave Technology environment that handle API traffic, billed per minute of usage.
  • Analytics: Billing is based on the total monthly API requests processed for analytics, regardless of success or failure, with a three-month data retention period.
  • Networking: Charges for IP addresses, networks, forwarding rules, and other networking services are applied based on usage.
